The Vancouver User Experience Group (VanUE) has been around now for a while, bringing awesome speakers in to talk about all sorts of user experience-related topics. Now that we’ve recently opened an office in the booming city of Calgary, we’d like to see a similar group in our new-found home.
There appears to be a Calgary User Experience Group, but we haven’t been able to get in touch with anyone involved with the group to find out who’s running the show. Are you involved with the Calgary User Experience group, or do you know anyone who is? Let us know!
If we don’t hear anything soon we will start to organize a few events… Calgary, get ready — user experience will reign supreme again!

Yes please let me know. I joined SIGCHI hoping to find a Calgary chapter. Nothing.
I’m one of the original members of the Calgary UX group. It’s been fairly dormant for about a year, but there have been some related activities, such as the CanUX conferences in Banff.
There is also a listserv which most of the group still receives emails from.
If you want to add your email to the listserv send an email to:

Having been involved in the Calgary UX group, I would love to be involved in resurrecting it.

It’s possible that listserv was stopped recently. It appears that the Calgary UX group is moving shop to a corner of Google Groups. Here is the link:
